Make and Take – Knife Skills 201 – Tuesday, January 21, 2025

In this class we will be expanding on the knife skills from 101 and teaching you more about your knives can do for you.

Students will learn cutting techniques while making stuffing, how to butterfly and stuff a pork tenderloin & chicken breast , how to tie a butcher’s knot, prepare a mushroom duxelle, make a glaze and go through the process on how the sauce was made.

It is recommened that you take the Knife Skills 101 class previously but it is not mandatory.

Price is per person and the 13% hst. Includes the class and 2 stuffed pork tenderloins and 2 stuffed chicken breasts to take home.

Pre-class snacks and drinks will be provided.

Menu:

Honey glazed pork tenderloin stuffed with kale almond pesto  and apples – you will make 2 of these pork tenderloins, 1 to eat in class and 1 to take home

Apple cider peppercorn sauce

Mushroom duxelle stuffed chicken breast – 2 stuffed chicken breasts to take home

Cancellation Policy

For scheduled cooking classes:

More than 1 week notice: Refund can be provided. Or rescheduling/transfer to another will be allowed.

Less than 72 hours notice: No refund, rescheduling or transfer will be allowed.

No Notice : Where a student fails to inform Aphrodite Cooks or fails to attend registered class – NO Rescheduled Class or refund will be issued.

Gift Certificate Use: Where a student intends to use a gift certificate and is unable to attend a class, the above Cancellation policy is in effect.
