Join us  for an introduction to basic chicken butchery, exploring the anatomy, techniques and expertise to making the most of your poultry with our zero waste philosophy.

Our class will all have the opportunity to engage in hands on chicken butchery and deboning as well as a live demo in bone broth,  brining and sauce making fundamentals.

Participants will leave with two whole broken down chickens as well as the base for a seasonal chicken brine, bbq sauce and instructions to building a simple and delicious chicken stock at home.

In this class we will butcher and debone two whole chickens per person, prepare a seasonal beer brine  as well as a smokey maple bbq sauce.

Cancellation Policy

For scheduled cooking classes:

More than 1 week notice: Refund can be provided. Or rescheduling/transfer to another will be allowed.

Less than 72 hours notice: No refund, rescheduling or transfer will be allowed.

No Notice : Where a student fails to inform Aphrodite Cooks or fails to attend registered class – NO Rescheduled Class or refund will be issued.

Gift Certificate Use: Where a student intends to use a gift certificate and is unable to attend a class, the above Cancellation policy is in effect.
