Do you have a minimum for catering?

Our minimum for our corporate catering is 8.

For event catering there is no minimum on the number of guests, however there is a minimum charge of $300.00 (excluding tax and delivery).

 

Do you have a minimum/maximum for cooking classes and events?

At our Weston Rd. studio we can accommodate up to 25 for a hands-on cooking class. We can accommodate up to 45 guests for a sit-down event.

For larger cooking classes or events, we utilize the facilities at the St. Lawrence Market Kitchen.

Due to the popularity of the Market space, we will need 4 to 5 months notice.

 

Do you accommodate allergies/dietary restrictions?

Yes, we can accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions for both cooking classes and catering. We will do our best to ensure that your guests are taken care of, but we will need notice before the event. We are not a nut-free facility.

 

What is your cancellation policy for catering?

Deposits are non-refundable.

Less than 3 weeks notice –  50% of your final bill will be charged.

Less than 6 days notice –  100% of your final bill will be charged.

 

What is your cancellation policy for cooking classes and events?

For Private and Corporate Cooking Classes:

Final numbers must be submitted 5 days prior to the event. Your charge will be based on that number.

If you have guests that cancel or do not show up to the class with less than 24 hours notice or no notice at all, no refund will be given.

 

Cancellation Policy:

More than 48 hours notice – You will not be charged.

24 hours notice – 1/3 will be charged.

Less than 24 hours notice –  Full charge will apply.

 

For scheduled cooking classes:

More than 1 week notice: Refund will be provided. Or rescheduling/transfer to another will be allowed.

Less than 72 hours notice: No refund, rescheduling or transfer will be allowed.

No Notice : Where a student fails to inform Aphrodite Cooks or fails to attend registered class – NO Rescheduled Class or refund will be issued.

Gift Certificate Use: Where a student intends to use a gift

certificate and is unable to attend a class, the above Cancellation policy is in effect.

 

Do you deliver?

Yes, we do. Delivery charges within the GTA are $30.00. Outside of the GTA will be billed accordingly to the location.

 

Where are you located?

We are located at 201 Weston Rd. Unit G1. We are just north of St. Clair on Weston Rd., about a block north of the Stockyards Mall.

 

Is your facility easily accessible by public transit?

If you are travelling by TTC, take the Bloor line to Keele station and then take the 89 bus and get off at McCormack Street. The TTC stop is right in front of our building.

Is there parking near your facility?

Parking is available on Weston Rd after 6 pm or on McCormack Street.

There is also parking available at the Stockyards Mall.

 

Can you accept credit/debit payments at your location?

We accept all major credit cards.
